About Benedetta

I am an Italian contemporary artist based in Versailles, France. My international journey—between Italy, Brazil, Hong Kong, and Singapore—permeates my creations.

My work, primarily abstract, is characterised by the use of vibrant colours and a sensitive exploration of forms and spaces. I lived on three continents and draw inspiration from the countries and cultures that form part of her inner world.

I first immersed myself in the sensory and chromatic richness of Brazil, then in the urban and cosmopolitan dynamics of Hong Kong and Singapore.

Each journey has nourished my artistic imagination: my canvases and installations reflect a fusion of motifs, intense pigments, and visual energies.

My canvases juxtapose the inner dynamics of abstract forms with the visual landmarks of the city of Versailles and its gardens. I draw material and inspiration from them, transforming the Versailles heritage into a field of artistic experimentation.

The exploration of emotional landscapes is at the heart of my work. I develop the themes of identity, travel, and the subconscious, using abstraction as a means of communicating feelings and emotions. Each work reflects my inner world, inviting the viewer to engage with my interpretations and emotions.
